AMTECH Material Systems 

Timothy A. Hernden is managing director of Amtech Material Systems and a minority partner of Amtech USA L.L.C.  As managing director, Hernden directs the overall operations of Material Systems which is the  warehousing, distribution and logistics unit of Amtech USA.

Hernden joined AMTECH in 2002 after an extensive automotive career at an automotive OEM and major tier one suppliers.  Most recently he served as Director of sales at Hayes Lemmerz specializing in Chassis, wheel, and suspension components. 

Prior to Hayes, Hernden was Vice President of Business development for CMI a casting supplier. Before this he served as Vice President of Marketing for MascoTech the automotive division of Masco Corporation. And Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Douglas & Lomason a manufacturer of Seat and trim systems.

Hernden began his professional career at Chrysler Corporation in the procurement and international operations office serving in positions of increasing senior management responsibilities during a 21 year career.

Hernden earned a bachelor's degree in Economics and Management from Davenport University and received a master's degree in Management from Central Michigan University.
